Project Spotlight: NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service Depot & Workshop
ENE Services partnered with Project Coordination to deliver a state-of-the-art depot and workshop for the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service. This project plays a crucial role in supporting conservation efforts by providing a functional and efficient workspace for the department’s staff.
Project Overview
The new facility was designed to accommodate over 20 staff members, offering modern office spaces, meeting rooms, and essential amenities, including showers and toilets. Our team played a key role in ensuring the electrical and data infrastructure met the highest standards to support daily operations seamlessly.
Key Electrical Works Completed
- Level 1 Transformer Upgrade: To meet the site’s power demands, we executed a Level 1 transformer upgrade, supplying 200 amps of power. Given the site’s remote location—over 400 meters from the nearest power source—this required meticulous planning and execution.
- Electrical & Data Installations: Our team managed all internal electrical and data installations, ensuring a reliable and efficient setup throughout the facility.
- Car Park Lighting: To enhance safety and accessibility, we installed high-quality lighting across the car park area.
- 25KW Solar System: As part of the project’s sustainability efforts, we integrated a 25KW solar system, reducing long-term energy costs and environmental impact.
- Dry Fire & Security Installations: Coordinating subcontractors, we ensured the successful installation of the fire indication panel (FIP) system and an advanced security setup, including access control systems.
Overcoming Challenges
Every major project presents challenges, and this was no exception.
- Remote Power Supply: With no immediate access to power, we implemented a temporary power solution, running 400 meters of cabling to maintain progress on-site until the permanent supply was established.
- Excavation Issues: The project encountered unforeseen rock formations during excavation, requiring close collaboration with plumbers and other trades to adapt plans and minimize delays.

Shellharbour Marina Community Hub – Commercial Electrical Fit-Out

During the project, the original builder went into liquidation, presenting a significant challenge. However, ENE Services maintained momentum by collaborating with New England Constructions to ensure a smooth transition. Our ability to adapt and continue work without delays was critical in keeping the project on track.

C-Bus Lighting Controls: We installed advanced C-Bus lighting systems, allowing for precise, automated control of illumination across different facility zones.
Custom 200-Amp Switchboard: ENE Services engineered and installed a tailored switchboard, directly connected to an adjacent electrical kiosk, ensuring a reliable and efficient power supply.

Wingecarribee Shire Council – Electrical Rectification & Fit-Out
ENE Services was engaged to rectify and complete the electrical works for the Wingecarribee Shire Council Chambers after the original contractor was removed from the project due to non-compliant installations. Following an inspection by the council’s electrical engineer, the previous contractor was deemed unfit to continue, and ENE Services stepped in to bring the project up to standard and ensure full compliance with regulations.
Scope of Work
Rectification of Non-Compliant Electrical Works:
Replaced 10 internal distribution boards (DBs) throughout the council chambers building.
Corrected and upgraded electrical infrastructure to meet compliance and safety standards.
Mains and Power Upgrades:
Upgraded the mains supply from the street to a newly installed 600-amp main switchboard (MSB).
Upgraded the generator supply to support 300 amps, ensuring reliable backup power for the facility.
Council Chambers & Library Fit-Out:
Installation of new lighting, power outlets, and infrastructure throughout the chambers and council offices.
Electrical fit-out for the newly developed public library and associated office spaces.
Despite the challenges posed by inheriting incomplete and non-compliant work, ENE Services successfully delivered a high-quality electrical solution that met all regulatory requirements and council expectations. Major Commercial Electrical Fit-Out for Catch.com.au – Moorebank facility, spanning 45,000 sqm
ENE Services recently completed a major commercial electrical fit-out for Catch.com.au, a high-volume eCommerce warehouse. This project involved extensive electrical infrastructure upgrades to support automated logistics, conveyor systems, and high-tech warehouse operations.
Project Overview
Our team was responsible for delivering a robust electrical and data installation to power critical warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and sorting stations, as well as autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). The project required careful coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with warehouse automation.

86 x 15A Chargers – Installed for autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), ensuring continuous operation with designated yellow and blue zones.
C200M Chargers – 4 units of 16A chargers installed, with Wi-Fi integration.

Project Execution & Challenges
This project required extensive planning and execution to meet the high electrical demands of an automated logistics facility. Working within an active warehouse, our team managed phased installations to minimize disruptions while ensuring safety compliance and efficiency.
We collaborated closely with the automation and warehouse teams to integrate power and data infrastructure seamlessly. The fit-out was completed on schedule, ensuring Catch.com.au could maintain smooth warehouse operations with enhanced automation capabilities.

One of the critical aspects of this project was upgrading the electrical infrastructure to support the expanded power requirements of the home. We installed a brand-new transformer and a robust 200A main switchboard (MSB) to supply the newly renovated house. This upgrade provided ample capacity for modern electrical loads, ensuring long-term reliability and performance.
New Mains for Future Developments
In addition to the main residence, we installed new mains to accommodate two future dwellings. This forward-thinking approach ensures seamless integration of additional residences down the track, eliminating the need for costly electrical modifications later on.

Glengarry Project: 600AMP supply Electrical Infrastructure for Future Development
At ENE Services, we pride ourselves on delivering large-scale electrical solutions that support complex developments. Our recent project in Glengarry was a prime example of our expertise in high-capacity infrastructure installations, working alongside key industry stakeholders to future-proof the property.
Project Overview
This project required the delivery of a robust electrical infrastructure to support current and future property developments. Our team was responsible for supplying 600 amps to the site, ensuring a central distribution point for all planned expansions.
Scope of Work
High-Capacity Electrical Supply: We facilitated a direct connection to an electrical kiosk, coordinating closely with Level 1 and Level 3 service providers, as well as Endeavour Energy, to ensure a seamless installation.
Centralized Infrastructure: The 600-amp supply was strategically positioned to accommodate all future developments, allowing for an efficient and scalable electrical distribution system.
New 200A MSB Installation: With the existing home undergoing a major renovation, we installed a new 200-amp main switchboard to handle the increased electrical demand, utilizing one-third of the total site supply.
